Things to help give your sinuses relief

We can all have sinus congestion, or a headache from our sinuses from time to time. We may have had a cold, or flu, an it can move into your head region causing you discomfort. You can take some linament with menthol, camphor, eucalyptus, winter green, lavender , peppermint oils, and put a small amount, one drop on the back of your scalp and scull area, there are some depressions along the sides and back of your skull, also use one drop on each temple areas, one drop in between your eyebrows (caution do not put linament near your eyes or any sensitive area on your head or body) You can also apply one drop to your throat area near the adams apple ( thyroid gland) Put one drop on your chest area in the center (breast bone) this will help to loosen, up some of the congestion in your chest and lungs. If you have any reaction or it causes you to burn and get uncomfortable you can use some mild soap and water and wash it off. I would not use linament on infants and and small children because it is to strong for their skin and they feel that it is burning, their skin. Here are some beneficial things that help your sinuses. Take some og peppermint tea, put it with 16oz of water bring it to a boil. Standing in front of the pan of water, put a cotton towel over your shoulders and head and lean forward until your head, is over the pan with water. Breath the steam in through your nostrils, Close your eyes so that they are protected, from the steam. Continue breathing in the sinus opening steam for 5-15 minutes. There is also a technique with a yoga posture. Following yoga position is helping in opening the suses, it is called a "rabbit pose" put a yoga mat, or a cotton blanket, on the floor, kneel down on both of your kenes, put your hands down and out in front of your body. Lay your forehead gently on the surface of the mat. Raise your head up and sit straight, up. Repeat this 6 to 12 times or until you feel your sinuses are released.
